No-deal Brexit won't delay Making Tax Digital. HMRC has confirmed that Making Tax Digital (MTD) for VAT won't be delayed if the UK leaves the EU without a deal. HMRC has also reminded importers that in the event of a no-deal, the postponed accounting for import VAT will apply to all imports so they will not have a cash flow disadvantage from changes to VAT rates.
