By way of explanation. The term 'home business' consists of two words. 'Business' is the second one; it's there to qualify and support the word 'home' and all that goes with it - and not vice versa. Consequently, we also list below, items which are of interest and value to the home. Whether in its context as an office or as a part of your family and lifestyle but always directed at the improved prospects and enjoyment that running a business from home, in its entirety, can bring.

For a current, multi-part overview of starting and running a business from home, go here: http://www.homebusiness.org.uk/features.htm

FAKE TRIPADVISOR REVIEWER JAILED. The owner of an Italian marketing agency that wrote fake reviews for hotels and restaurants has been jailed for nine months and ordered to pay costs of more than £8,000. The agency, PromoSalento, tried to submit more than 1,000 fake positive reviews, illegal in Italy before they were caught and the owner jailed in what is the first conviction of its kind, though hopefully with more to follow.

TripAdvisor has sadly not been transparent enough to release the names of the hotels and restaurants which were happy to pay to mislead their public, yet. According to website Fakespot, which aims to weed out bogus reviews, up to one third of TripAdvisor reviews are fake, a claim contested by TripAdvisor. http://www.eou.org.uk/

HSBC and TSB online banking down as mobile apps crash. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/news/hsbc-tsb-online-banking-down-mobile-app-locked-out-payday-a8558866.html Again?! Perhaps they should revoke the banks' licences and encourage everyone to keep their money in empty biscuit tins under their bed, instead? It would certainly be more reliable - and leave more money in customers' pockets, too. Even if it would impact on all that advertising revenue enjoyed by the criminal banking industry's mates, the fake news media, as well as large bungs to corrupt politicians.

School apologises after pupils handed worksheet suggesting Polish migrants 'stealing' UK jobs. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/school-polish-migrants-uk-jobs-stealing-brexit-propaganda-eu-walthamstow-academy-london-a8557066.html With the tide of East European migration well and truly turned since the Brexit vote and the accompanying campaign of hate-preaching from Little Ingerlandt's fake tabloid news and political rabble, the real issue has become one of skills and labour shortages which are far from being filled by the indigenous population - whatever that might be in Britain. Employers speak in unison however, when they condemn the 'thicko mills' which are the today's schools producing dummyphone-gazing knobheads who don't even know how to get out of bed - much less put in an honest, skilled and productive day's work.

If there is anyone 'stealing' UK jobs these days then it is high time the education system and educationalists themselves came under closer scrutiny - and not the latest, convenient scapegoat. Next thing you know, they will be teaching their pupils that Britain won World War 2!

Millennials earn significantly less than they expected, official data shows. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/news/millennials-pay-less-than-expected-careers-office-national-statistics-a8557946.html And they are still getting paid far more than they are worth.

27.09.2018: UK will be 'unequivocally pro-business' after Brexit, Theresa May tells American investors. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/theresa-may-brexit-business-corporation-tax-bloomberg-forum-new-york-un-a8555146.html Translation: the Tory regime will double its fagging efforts for evil, tax-dodging American Big Corp after Brexit is finalised. Which is why evil American Big Corp manipulated the Brexit outcome and Britain's political stooges to begin with. And then tried to blame the Ruskies.

As for a 'pro-business' message to BRITISH businesses then - as usual - there ain't one. That would be 'anti-semitic'.

Mobile phone charges 'unacceptable' says Ofcom. https://www.bbc.com/news/business-45652259 Mobile phone charges have been 'unacceptable' since mobile phones first became available. Which makes Ofcon now stating the obvious, even more unacceptable. Unfortunately, when a regime appoints telecoms crooks as ministers, things aren't going to change any time soon.

(The EU permitting.) Just as they have no idea what being a war criminal means; or a Fag for America; or a Friend of Israel.

Put Brexit talks with EU on backburner and open negotiations with rest of world, Theresa May told. https://uk.yahoo.com/news/put-brexit-talks-eu-backburner-200000170.html Tory Brexit stooges have been 'opening negotiations with the rest of the world' since Brexit was declared. And how many trade deals have been struck? None. Zilch. Zero. After all, who wants to sign up to do fresh business with a country run by lying, thieving war criminals fagging for American and Israeli terrorists?

MTD will require most businesses operating above the VAT threshold to keep digital records for VAT purposes from April 2019. However, 25% of VAT-registered businesses still use paper-based accounting systems, meaning they will need to upgrade to MTD-compatible accounting software. The research has revealed that 34% of businesses surveyed plan to rely on their accountant or tax adviser for MTD advice, and 20% have not started preparing for its introduction.

In the letter, HMRC has confirmed that EU-only traders would be required to complete customs declarations for the first time from March 2019. The letter also confirms that UK traders would have to apply customs, excise and VAT procedures in the event of a 'no-deal'. A separate version of the letter has been sent to businesses in Northern Ireland in which the Government reaffirms its commitment to avoiding a hard border between the Republic and Northern Ireland.

It's not a 'civil war'. It's the continuing mass-murder of millions of defenceless civilians by cowardly Saudi, American and British terrorist and war criminal scum and their temple money-lender backers. So, on a similar basis, most Britons opposed the invasion of Iraq. Just as most Britons are now opposed to Brexit. The abolition of Class 2 NICs was originally due to be introduced in April 2018, but was delayed by 12 months. It was expected to save over three million self-employed workers an extra £130 a year if they made a profit of £6,205. Trump adviser (terrorist scum) threatens sanctions against US war crimes investigations. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2018/sep/10/john-bolton-castigate-icc-washington-speech This is not 'news' and despite Britain's media heads stuffed up American terrorists' arses so far they can't breathe, this is no 'surprise', either. Since WW2, the USA economy, every bit as much as its populist culture, has been dependent on war crimes, crimes against humanity, cowardly terrorism, mass-murder, theft and lies. Each and every one of the 50 countries it has invaded and the 20 million civilians it has murdered since then, have suffered in the same way - and that is common knowledge, no matter what some American spokeshite might say.

Yet, despite these horrific, inhuman credentials, there are elements within British politics and the media which are actually trying to persuade us to do business with this filth. Like handing over our children to a group of rampant paedophiles or cannibals. Or asking a butcher not to vote for Christmas!

Labour antisemitism causing British Jews to consider leaving country, says leading rabbi. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/jeremy-corbyn-labour-antisemitism-lord-jonathan-sacks-zionist-enoch-powell-a8519221.html Now, I wonder how many other immigrants to Britain's shores have already left Britain because of the lying, hate-preaching, Jewish-owned and edited media? Or been terrorised, murdered and forced out of their homes in Palestine? Or been terrorised, murdered and forced out of their homes in their millions and MILLIONS, all around the world, by successive American-Jewish war criminal administrations and their Jewish-owned fake news media/propaganda? What are the hitherto silently held views of a Jewish religious extremist, speaking on behalf of a small, unrepresentative, Jewish corporate minority, have to say about that?

IF there is a growing wave of anti-Jewish sentiment - and that is a big 'IF' in the real world divorced from hysterical, disproportionate and fabricated media smear campaigns - then it has been fuelled by an interest group which sees a Labour party - or any opposition party without Blairite/Tory war criminal type supporters of Israeli or American-Jewish terrorism - as a threat.

To the rest of us who don't make our livings from hate-preaching, lying, thieving and murdering, then the vast majority of Jews, just like any other citizens of the world, are our friends and lovers; our business associates and customers. The huge majority who quietly go about trying to make the world a richer and a happier and a safer place. Which doesn't float everyone's boat, apparently.
