By way of explanation. The term 'home business' consists of two words. 'Business' is the second one; it's there to qualify and support the word 'home' and all that goes with it - and not vice versa. Consequently, we also list below, items which are of interest and value to the home. Whether in its context as an office or as a part of your family and lifestyle but always directed at the improved prospects and enjoyment that running a business from home, in its entirety, can bring.

For a current, multi-part overview of starting and running a business from home, go here: http://www.homebusiness.org.uk/features.htm

Hundreds of French farmers killing themselves every year. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/hundreds-of-french-farmers-killing-themselves-every-year-a6901541.html That's long been the case (and British farmers are also prone to high suicide rates), although matters have worsened under the present socio-fascist regime which prefers to spend taxpayers' money on arse-lickin' American and Israeli terrorists, war crimes, creating millions of refugees, trade union thuggery and a black market economy of 5 million fonctionnaires who get paid not to work. Still. More sanctions against Russia. That will help. Or, with such huge casualties resulting from French government 'terrorism', will it start bombing itself? That might help, too.

28.02.2016: Think-tank calls for boost to older working population. http://money.aol.co.uk/2016/02/26/thinktank-calls-for-boost-to-older-working-population/ But the older population has already been 'boosted'. People are having to work beyond 65 now because they can't afford to retire. And everyone's a 'silverpreneur', thus 'boosting' the regime's bogus 'self-employed' statistics.

And people could afford to go to the pub and didn't drink wine, so a wine fridge wasn't necessary. (In fact, a wine cellar is far more 'cool'.) Now, council plebs are all 'entrepreneurs' with a crap internet connection and the country has never had it so good!

Mind you, the principle is worth bearing in mind if you're thinking about starting a home business or becoming an entrepreneur in the UK. Before you start up, stock the house with enough food to last at least six months. Because you aren't going to earn any money for that long - maybe even longer.

New dispute resolution platform for consumers and traders. The European Commission has launched a new Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform that will enable consumers and traders to settle disputes relating to both domestic and cross-border online sales without going to court. ODR will use national Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) providers that are connected to the platform. In the UK this includes The Retail Ombudsman, The Property Ombudsman and the Federation of Master Builders.

ODR is part of the EU Directive on Alternative Dispute Resolution for consumer disputes which came into force in 2015. All online traders selling goods, services and digital content to consumers must provide a link to the ODR platform from their website, in e-mails and in their Ts & Cs. Although traders are not obliged to use ADR unless it is compulsory in their industry, they are required to provide notice of the ODR platform.

Or, pure bollox. Ingerlandt's Friends of Israel regime might find a better start to protecting national security and improving 'community cohesion' would be to temper its own hate-preaching, Semitic propaganda which targets everyone from Muslims to Asians, Russians to Poles on a daily basis (http://truepublica.org.uk/united-kingdom/how-britains-propaganda-machine-controls-what-you-think/); followed by the abatement of its sponsorship of international terrorism and its own war crimes against millions of defenceless civilians - including its own boycotts, otherwise known as 'sanctions'.

Of the top ten export destinations, the main export market was Germany, with the second and third most popular export markets being France and the US. Inbound payments from France in 2015 increased by 19%, compared to 2014. This was a 2% increase on the figures for 2013/2014 and the highest level on record. The survey found the average value of stolen goods to be £325 per incident, but despite this, the total number of offences had dropped for the second year in a row. Industry experts claim that criminals are increasingly stealing to order from retailers. Most of the retailers surveyed had also reported an increase in the number of cases of fraud, with a rise of 55%. (EnterpriseQuest)

Israel boycott ban: public fury as shunning Israeli goods to become criminal offence for public bodies and student unions. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/israel-boycott-local-councils-public-bodies-and-student-unions-to-be-banned-from-shunning-israeli-a6874006.html No surprises here from the country's Nazi regime of Friends of Israel led by war criminal David 'my values are Jewish values' Cameron. (As not reported by Ingerlandt's hate-preaching, pro-Israeli-American terrorist propaganda.)

The problem is - as with many other countries - that the UK regime has never lifted a finger for the vast majority (99%) of the country's business community. The focus of its whoring politicians is concentrated entirely upon American or Israeli (and personal) interests - and nothing more than raping the taxpayer to achieve those ends. A boycott ban is merely another way of ensuring that British small business interests continue to take a distant back seat, as large procurers will always take the 'safe' option and choose 'Israeli Terrorist', rather than 'Buy British' or 'Buy Local' and having to risk defending their right of choice in a court. (And probabaly a 'Friends of Israel' kangaroo court at that.)

Once upon a time, before hiding behind 'patriotism' to justify crimes against humanity had become the fashion, these would have been grounds to line up the entire government in front of a wall to be shot for treason.

Unfortunately, all we can resort to today is the simple request (not enshrined in law) that Wankminster's fags and slags simply fu*k off to Israel and the US if they can't put the interests of their own country, citizens and businesses before those of a bunch of grasping, paedo-terrorists.

Research reveals levels of self-employed in debt. http://www.freelanceuk.com/news/4913.shtml Debt advice provider Payplan has published research which indicates that self-employed people are likely to have more personal debt than those who are employed. The research reveals that, on average, self-employed people under the age of 65 have 36.4% more personal debt than employed people. The findings also reveal that almost one third of those that become self-employed do so before the age of 35, despite the risk of debts. Additionally, more than 50% of those who are self-employed seriously worry about their personal finances either often, or all of the time, regardless of whether they have existing personal debt.

Jane Clack, Money Advice Consultant at Payplan, said: "The results show that, financially, self-employed people are even more at risk, and thousands may already be struggling without admitting it to anyone."

(War criminal) David Cameron has hailed Britain’s technology sector as “extraordinary”, apparently. So, just once, will we be seeing taxpayers' money diverted away from subsidising the murder industry (and banking) into a sector which benefits the UK economy at large?

Syria conference: (War criminal) Sajid Javid to lead UK Business Task Force. https://www.gov.uk/government/news/syria-conference-sajid-javid-to-lead-uk-business-task-force This is where Big Corp is given the earnings opportunity of rebuilding a country which Ingerlandt's (and other Coalition of Evil) Nazi regimes have been bombing and destroying for the past few years. With local, Syrian businesses driven out together with 5 million other refugees, Ingerlandt's (and the EU's) corporate economic migrants should see very little opposition to making a further quick killing or two.

Survey reveals small business owners' attitudes to cybercrime. http://www.aviva.co.uk/media-centre/story/17582/businesses-dont-believe-they-are-at-risk-of-cyber-/ A survey of 1,500 small business owners, carried out by Aviva, has revealed mixed attitudes towards cybercrime. Four in ten respondents did not believe they were at risk from cybercrime, and nearly two thirds did not know or were unsure about how they would react to an attack. However, more than one in three small business owners surveyed had experienced a cyberattack, and three quarters of these respondents estimated that it had cost them up to £1,000 to remedy. Commenting on the findings, Angus Eaton, Managing Director of Commercial Lines at Aviva, warned small business owners that it was a mistake to think criminals would only target big business.
